CARACTERISTICS:Hinges:The badges produced by this maker always have the same cast-in hinge and are made of Zink, except for the Black version where it´s made integral part of the badge and made of steel. We´ve found some variations on position of hinge that depends on period of manufacture. The early ones have a higher hinge as can be seen here:
The later ones have the hinge a little lower, with a space between the top of badge and the hinge, as can be seen here:
Catches: The catches of this maker are also always made cast-in.
Pins: This maker always use the same style of needle pin with sharp point. Marks: Depending on period, this manufacturer marked his badges on middle of back (early ones) or above the catch (later ones). On the Black ones, the mark is always on lower left of helmet. Also we have found some sligh diferences on front of badge depending if they´re early ones or late war. (Visit the picture gallerie) The early ones have the five dots on front of badge with the four "higher" ones, close to each other: The later ones have the four "higher" dots separated:
Although this is not a rule, it happends most of times.
